Exercise & Fitness

Even if you're losing weight by eating less, you should include an exercise regimen. The merits of exercise — from preventing chronic health conditions to boosting confidence and self-esteem — are hard to ignore. And the benefits are yours for the taking, regardless of age, sex or physical ability. Performing regular physical activity impact every aspect of your daily life, including:

•   Improves your posture

•   Decreases chronic pain
•   Leads to better sleep patterns

Exercise helps you manage your weight. To drop those excess pounds, trade some couch time for walking or other physical activities. When you exercise, you burn calories. Exercise can consist of:

•   Do jumping jacks during commercials or better yet, turn off the TV and take a walk.

The secret is to keep moving doing whatever activity you enjoy from ballroom dancing to hiking to pushing your child in a swing to hosting a neighborhood touch football game.
